By using Inkognito you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree do not use the service.

Inkognito provides AI-powered text humanization. We transform AI-generated content into natural-sounding human writing. Results may vary depending on input content, length and complexity.

Inkognito does not warrant or guarantee that any output will pass any specific AI detector (including but not limited to GPTZero, Turnitin, Copyleaks, Originality.ai, or ZeroGPT). Detectors update their models frequently and produce different verdicts on the same input. The human-likeness score shown in the app is informational, generated by a third party (ZeroGPT), and not a guarantee of any outcome. No refunds are issued on the basis of a detector flagging output as AI-generated.

You may use Inkognito for:

• Personal writing projects
• Professional content creation
• Business communications
• Academic drafting and editing

You may not use Inkognito to:

• Generate spam or mass unsolicited communications
• Create content intended to deceive, defraud, harass, or defame
• Produce child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, or content that promotes violence against any person or group
• Impersonate any person or organization
• Generate content that infringes another party's copyright or trademarks
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Resell or redistribute the service without written permission
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or automate access outside the published API

We may suspend or terminate, without refund, any account we reasonably believe is violating this section.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring their use of Inkognito complies with their institution's academic integrity policies. Inkognito accepts no liability for academic misconduct violations.

You must be at least 16 years old in the EEA / UK, or 13 elsewhere, to use Inkognito. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through Lemon Squeezy or PayPal. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and we do not pro-rate refunds for partial months.

First-time subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial charge if the service did not work as described, by emailing support. Renewals, and any subscription after the first, are non-refundable except where required by law. EU consumers retain their statutory withdrawal rights.

Each plan includes a monthly word limit. Unused words do not roll over to the next month. Exceeding your limit requires upgrading your plan.

You retain full ownership of all content you submit and all humanized output you receive. We claim no rights over your content.

You are responsible for the content you submit. You represent that you have the right to submit it and that the input and output do not infringe any third party's rights. We respond to valid copyright notices under applicable law; send DMCA notices to the contact address below.

Inkognito is provided as is without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that humanized content will pass any specific AI detector, that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that it will meet your particular needs. Detection outcomes vary by detector, content type, length, and the detector's current model version, which is outside our control.

Inkognito shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last three months.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, certain consumer-protection rights in the EU).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration seated in Nairobi, conducted in English. Each party bears its own costs. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of significant changes by email.
